The project challenges the concept of the cave as a mass. Through the substraction of a primitive
the inner mass is generated by intersections and the residual void is created between the now two masses. The result is a dynamic geometry that is constantly oscillating between mass and void.
Usable space is expressed as heavy mass.

geometry
I used the technique of substraction to manipulate my mass.
The primitive was an ellipsoid which was then carved by a series of other ellipsoids to create the relationship of mass to void.
Through the intersection of these primitives the inner mass containing the cheese storage is created, the void - the circulation space - is between now two masses.
The diagram shows the first, symmetrical attempt, and the final geometry.
